A QUICK MESSAGE FROM THE WINNIPEG COMMISSION
Thank you for your interest in lacrosse! We are happy to have an increase in the number of players and this year we will be introducing two new clubs; the SouthMan Saints who are based out of Ste. Agathe and the Interlake Storm who are based out of Stonewall. We are in the process of developing new boundaries to accommodate the increase in players and will be working to ensure everyone knows who their proper club is. If you have played lacrosse before and have a new club in your area, there should be no problem with you staying with the same club as last year. However, if you would prefer to play with your new club, you are certainly welcome to do that. Either way, we will be working to make sure everyone is aware of the new boundaries as we continue to grow in lacrosse.
2024 SEASON
U7 COED
Ages 4-6 (birth year 2018-2020)
The U7 program is played 3 on 3 with half court games and a skills session to reduce costs and help develop skills. The U7 play with a smaller "Rage Cage" net. Required equipment includes lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, jock/jill, mouth guard. Volleyball type knee pads are optional but recommended.
Play on Monday and Wednesday - 6:00-7:00 - Maples Arena
includes 6 games - 3 home and 3 away
Cost: $150.00 Registration fee
U9 COED
Ages 7-8 (birth year 2016-2017)

U11 M/F
Ages 9-10 (birth year 2014-2015)
The U11 age group for lacrosse is the first introduction to modified contact. Additional equipment required for contact are shoulder pads, kidney pads and arm slash guards. U11 is played full court, with 5 runners and a goalie. Ideally there are two goalies per team, who plays goal all season.
If numbers permit all female teams can be formed.
Games are typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some weekends. Coaches may schedule practices on other days.
Cost: $260.00 Registration Fee, plus practice floor time, & tournaments that your team decides to enter.
U13 M/F
Ages 11 - 12 (birth year 2012-2013)
The U13 age group - Players should be learning and developing more skills and strategies for game play. The number of teams is determined by the number of players registered. They will be divided on to teams by a draft system to help ensure teams are equal in strength, ability, left and right-handed shooters. Ideally teams will have two dedicated goalies.
If numbers permit all female teams can be formed.
Games are typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays with some weekends. Coaches may schedule practices on other days.
Cost: $300.00 Registration Fee, plus practice floor time & tournaments that your team decides to enter.
U15 M/F
Ages 13-14 (birth year 2010 - 2011)
The U15 age group - Players should be learning and developing even more skills and strategies for game play then at the U13. The number of teams is determined by the number of players registered. They will be divided on to teams by a draft system to help ensure teams are equal in strength, ability, left and right handed shooters. Ideally teams will have two dedicated goalies.

Games are typically on Mondays and Wednesdays with some weekends. Coaches may schedule practices on other days.
Cost: $340.00 Registration Fee, plus practice floor time & tournaments that your team decides to enter.
U17 M/F
Ages 15-16 (birth year 2008 - 2009)
The U17 age group - Players should be learning and developing even more skills and strategies for game play then at the U15. The number of teams is determined by the number of players registered. They will be divided on to teams by a draft system to help ensure teams are equal in strength, ability, left and right-handed shooters. Ideally teams will have two dedicated goalies.
If numbers permit all female teams can be formed.

Cost: $380.00 Registration Fee, plus practice floor time & tournaments that your team decides to enter.
The fees quoted above do not include any apparel, practice times, or tournaments.
Practices are up to each team to organize and charge accordingly

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED
ONCE TEAMS HAVE BEEN FORMED.
If the season is canceled at any point due to public health regulations a prorated refund will be issued for each player less all MLA fees ($40), admin fees, and fees used for preseason camps and finished games.
